Free holiday help in Richmond and Columbia County.

There is help available during Christmas and Thanksgiving. Approximately 800 families in the Columbia and Richmond County region of Georgia apply for financial assistance each year. The Christmas Clearinghouses will give out holiday food baskets, free toys for children, and even a tree for the home based on donations.

If there are no toys left to pass out to the needy, or if the agency has a long waiting list in place, volunteers will refer the applicant to another local holiday assistance program.
