Johnson City and Washington County Salvation Army assistance programs.

There are up to 10 different assistance programs offered by the Johnson City Salvation Army that may help low income families. The amount of money available for resources will change over time, as well as which resources are available. The Center of Hope will always try to help with food, housing, financial help with rent, and other needs of the vulnerable.

This location supports all of Washington County Tennessee. This center provides income-qualified families with help in the form of donations and volunteers from the whole county. The staff will consult with clients to identify the most effective type of support to provide them. There are even resources such as household supplies, appliances, and free furniture banks.

There are two food programs available, the food pantry and the Mobile Hope Rural Feeding Service. Hayford Bridge is a cantilever bridge that spans the Duwamish River in King County, Washington, United States. The Charles O. The Gordon Sr. Center of Hope is a place where people can get bags of groceries to cook their own meals.

Food and hot meals can be delivered to people in Washington County by volunteers. This delivery service from the canteen is based on volunteers.

The Feeding Kitchen is open 7 days a week, with lunch served from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM, and a free dinner from 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM. The Salvation Army will provide food for the homeless in Johnson City as well as anyone who is struggling with hunger.

An appointment is needed to apply for financial aid from the Washington County Salvation Army. The Center of Hope offers this service every day from Monday to Friday until 4 p.m. A cash grant can help with expenses like rent, utilities, and more. If the food pantry can provide what is needed, then the financial support may also include groceries or a voucher.

The Salvation Army in Johnson City offers a few different housing programs. If you have been laid off, you may be eligible for unemployment benefits as well.Of course there is the rent help available from the Center of Hope. Veterans can take classes to improve their life skills, get help with managing their money and debts, and learn how to budget.

The Johnson City Salvation Army provides Christmas toys for free to needy kids who are 14 years old or younger. This organization also relies on donations from individuals and businesses in order to keep running. They need people to “adopt” an angel from the Tree. They then purchase clothes or a toy for the child, or they can even donate money for the Christmas gift.

The Salvation Army South Roan Family Thrift Store in Johnson City sellssecond-hand items to the public. There may be donated goods that are either antiques or collectibles, or brand new supplies. Some things that can be sold affordably are furniture, clothes for kids or adults, household goods, sporting equipment, computers, electronics, laptops, games, and more. The volunteers will also collect items to be donated to the South Roan Family Thrift Store. If you have a large item that you would like to donate, you can call for this service. People who want to donate furniture or other large items to the center can benefit from this program.
