There are many organizations that have partnered together to help people who are less fortunate in the community. They provide financial assistance to low-income individuals and families, including help with paying bills, rent, counseling, and other services.

Klamath Food Bank

This facility provides food and other household items to almost 40 non-profit agencies in Klamath County Oregon. It works with the United Way, local food banks and pantries, and other organizations. The food bank provides food for seniors, children, the mentally and physically disabled in the community, and even the terminally ill. The Klamath Food Bank provides food for people who might not otherwise have enough to eat. This food helps these people to be healthier. This organization provides emergency services to those in need. It is a branch of the largest organization in the world. The church based group can help with things like food, clothes, heating and utility bills, rent, and transportation. Senior citizen assistance programs

Call the Senior Citizen’s Council at (541) 883-7171. They provide seniors with transportation, food, information on grant programs, and social activities. Most of these services are available at a low cost or for free. Senior centers are places where older adults can come to socialize, exercise, and receive services. They often provide activities such as arts and crafts, group outings, and educational classes. Senior centers can be a great way for older adults to stay active and connected to their community.

Get information on debt and foreclosure programs

The Klamath Falls branch of Consumer Credit Counseling provides free foreclosure and debt reduction counseling and support services to families and individuals with financial problems. They can help you create a budget and payment plan. If you’re in danger of foreclosure, there are some things you can do to try and prevent it. One option is the HARP government program. The Klamath Falls Gospel Mission provides emergency shelter and programs for homeless men, as well as an emergency shelter for families and individuals who have been evicted or lost their homes. The Mission provides job training, meals, free food and clothing to those in need. Anyone in the Klamath County region who is hungry can get a free hot meal.
