The Agency on Aging in Colorado provides resources and assistance to seniors and adults aged 60 and older. This includes coordinating resources and providing information on available services. The following offices offer programs throughout the state. The various resources that are available to assist seniors include care giving; respite care; housing/rental assistance; elder rights; long term care ombudsman; Medicare and prescription assistance; and various nutrition and wellness services.

The Senior Community Service Employment Program helps people find a job. To be eligible for this program, applicants must be 55 years or older, living in a low-income household, and legally eligible to work in both Colorado and the United States.

If you participate in SCSEP, you will receive job training in public and non-profit organizations, which will give you skills that are marketable to employers.
