Assistance from the North Shore Community Action Program.

The North Shore Community Action Program (NSCAP) offers assistance with paying bills to residents of the Boston Massachusetts area who live on the North Shore. This organization provides food, clothing, and financial assistance to low-income residents in the communities of Danvers, Salem, Peabody, and Beverly, Massachusetts. The organization will help with bills to over 20 towns and cities on the North Shore. The organization has been around for over 50 years and was created to help people in need. NSCAP seeks to help those of low and middle incomes become more self-sufficient. The organization provides numerous programs to help people in the short term, with the aim of getting them back on track over the long term. Here is just a small example of how they can help.

They provide a service that helps people who are struggling to pay their rent, or who are at risk of being evicted. The National Housing Assistance Program will provide financial assistance to people who are at risk of losing their homes or who are already homeless. They will help people who are at risk of homelessness by increasing their ability to maintain their housing or obtain permanent, affordable housing. Every family will be assigned a personal housing counselor to complete a thorough assessment of the family’s financial situation, including their current housing situation and what services they need.

Another program is the NSCAP’s Fuel Assistance program, which helps people with their fuel costs. This will help people pay for their heating bills during the cold winters in Massachusetts. Both people who own their homes and people who rent, including families who live in an apartment where their heat is included in the rent, can apply for assistance. This website provides information on how to get free heating oil.

The weatherization assistance program helps people save money on their energy bills. This program is funded by the federal government, and the money being given to it will go up because of the stimulus programs. The program was designed to help people reduce their expenses on utility bills, including those for heating and cooling. If your home is not comfortable, you may not want to live there. Making your home more comfortable to live in can make it a better place for you and your family. The work to improve energy efficiency is completed by professional contractors and some of the upgrades can include additional wall and attic insulation and weather stripping.

The store is located on Main Street in Peabody, Massachusetts. Please call (978) 531-0767 to speak to someone. There are other ways to get help in the greater Essex County region.
