The national bank is opening a center in Boston Massachusetts that will help homeowners protect their homes from foreclosure. This will be the first time that JP Morgan Chase will be opening a homeownership center in the state of Massachusetts.
The center is able to help homeowners who are struggling to pay their home loan due to hardships such as a drop in salary, unemployment, reduction in hours at work, a medical emergency, or a ballooning subprime or interest only type mortgage. Clients of the center will be able to schedule an appointment to speak with a housing counselor.
JPMorgan Chase believes that the best way to help borrowers stay in their homes and to prevent foreclosure is to allow the homeowner to sit down with a counselor and discuss their individual circumstances. Meeting someone in person is more effective than discussing the situation over the phone or through the mail. The homeownership centers focus on borrowers who have loans that originated from Chase, Washington Mutual and EMC.
Chase has opened many centers to help people with their home loans, and so far they have helped many thousands of people stay in their homes or get back on track with their payments. -Tutoring -Mentoring -Job search assistance -Academic advising At the Boston Massachusetts location, some of the services that are offered include things such as tutoring, mentoring, job search assistance, and academic advising.
