Many families have difficulty buying the gifts their children want for the holidays, so the demand for extra help is high during this time. Some people cannot afford to have a big Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner. The organizations listed below may be able to help by giving out free Christmas presents, food baskets, and Thanksgiving turkeys.

The goal of using donations from the community for programs such as Angel Tree or Adopt-a-Family is to provide children from low income families with a gift or clothing item. They also need something to put under the Christmas tree to unwrap.
