Las Vegas Rescue Mission programs.

If you are homeless or poor in Clark County or Las Vegas, Nevada, you can go to the Rescue Mission for help. They can give you a place to stay, food to eat, and other short-term assistance. The location also has a thrift store that is open to the public and this store sell gently used clothing and/or household items. Residents with the lowest incomes in Las Vegas may receive a voucher that they can use to pay for clothing items.

Hot meals and food are offered to the hungry in the community. For those who stay overnight at the emergency shelter, there is a free breakfast available. Another program may provide lunch (including a bag lunch) to those from the community who are enrolled in the residential recovery program. The Rescue Mission provides food for hundreds of people every day who are homeless, hungry, or in need.

There are other programs that can help people who are struggling to get food. The center will be giving out pastries, bread, dairy products, fruit and vegetables. The non-profit will also give Holiday Food Baskets with turkeys to thousands of people around Thanksgiving and Christmas.

The Rescue Mission uses the money to fund their programs, which include shelters, financial aid, and housing.

A Ministry that provides clothing is also available on site. The Rescue Mission is giving away free clothes to people who are homeless or have very low incomes. The case managers can also give a voucher to families and individuals who are moving from the streets or a shelter into a new apartment. This can help them access the resources they need and start out on the right foot.
