The Love also operates a clearing house in Mecklenburg County which provides families in need with referrals to churches or ministries that can help them.

The Adopt an Elder program helps seniors in the Charlotte region who can’t do certain tasks on their own and don’t have family members to help. brought much-needed supplies to the local food bank. Volunteers can help with things like yard work, grocery shopping, house cleaning, or cooking a meal. The elderly, frail, or disabled often have a poor quality of life. This is due to many factors such as a lack of mobility, lack of social interaction, and poor health. However, there are ways to improve their quality of life. For example, by providing them with a wheelchair, they can be more mobile. Additionally, by providing them with social interaction, they can feel less isolated. Lastly, by improving their health, they can feel better overall.

Love INC partners with a church in Mecklenburg County to run a Baby Layette Ministry. This ministry collects gently used and new baby clothes, disposable diapers, formula, blankets, crib sheets, baby bottles, diapers, and other essential baby layette items.

These goods are given to new mothers who don’t have many resources. Some of these mothers are struggling to make ends meet and may not have any family support. They may not have any resources for their babies. The ministry also provides parenting classes for the mothers.

The Mecklenburg County Ramp It Up Ministry provides ramps for disabled clients who do not have them at their homes or apartments. They need to be low income and lack the money to pay for someone to add one to their home. Volunteers will visit the home to assess what is needed and then design and oversee the construction of a ramp that meets those needs. This means that the disabled person can do things on their own without needing help from other people.

Car repairs are available in Charlotte from Love Inc. This means that if people have a car that is in good working condition, they are more likely to be able to get a job and become independent of public assistance.

Churches and faith based groups that are part of Love INC partner with local repair shops to help with repairs and maintenance of cars. The Charlotte Computer Ministry takes in old, unused computer equipment and gives it a new life. The staff cleans it up, repairs any damage, and updates the software so it can be used again. The charity will also clean up old data and files, and install up-to-date software. The unit is then given to people who need it for work or to a student in a school in Mecklenburg County.

The Essentials Toiletry Pantry Ministry provides basic necessities like toiletries for very low income people or the working poor who are on Food Stamps. The assistance is for families who cannot afford to purchase toiletries and personal hygiene items. Toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, laundry detergent, shaving cream, shampoo, toilet paper, dish detergent, feminine pads, and bar soap are some of the things that the Love churches may give out for free.

Other services that Love INC may provide referrals for include things like home repairs, help with legal and medical forms, delivered meals, appliance repair, cleaning gutters, and applying for government benefits. They may also do things like painting homes for elderly people.
