The South Coast Food Share provides food assistance to people in need. Oregon Coast Community Action has partnered with almost 40 local member organizations to provide food for almost 2000 food boxes and 4000 meals per month to those who are struggling in today’s economy. The government provides financial assistance to help low-income families pay their energy bills. There are programs to help families and individuals with paying for increasing energy bills and expenses. They give out free money in the form of grants, help people apply for federal programs such as LIHEAP, and work on ways to reduce energy usage including weatherization programs that improve over 100 houses per year.

Salvation Army Church is a local non-profit that supports both Coos County and Coquille Oregon. They can be reached at 888-5202. They may only have a small amount of money to help pay for things like rent, utilities, and food. They are a great place to find out about local non-profits and charities.
Free or reduced priced Health and dental care in Coos County
